Welcome to the City of Mount Holly

The City of Mount Holly, NC is located in northeastern Gaston County. Our beautiful city is situated west of Catawba River with a culturally and historically rich community and a thriving economy. Mount Holly is a wonderful place to visit or those who are looking for the perfect place to relocate a business or call home.

Mayor Bryan HoughCome join us for a stroll down Mount Holly's brick-lined sidewalks or bike over to enjoy one of the last remaining stretches of undeveloped, natural riverbank on the Catawba in the Metrolina. Garrison Keillor once said that some luck lies not in getting what you thought you wanted but getting what you have. Come see what we have, it is something special. — Mayor Bryan Hough
