Welcome to the City of Mount Holly Planning and Zoning Department, a Division of Community and Economic Development.  The Planning and Zoning department is responsible for Land Use Planning, oversight and enforcement of Zoning Regulations, GIS mapping, Code Enforcement, which includes minimum housing, nuisance abatement, high grass and junked vehicles.

We offer assistance with rezoning requests, voluntary annexation requests, zoning compliance permits for construction and permitted businesses, administration and interpretation of the zoning and subdivision ordinances, management of the flood plain and watershed regulations, inspections for minimum housing, and GIS mapping.
