The City of Mount Holly Department of Planning & Development engages
citizens in an ongoing dialogue about Mount Holly’s future and plays a
central role in guiding the long-term development of the built and natural
environment. There are subgroups within the Department of Planning &
Development that complement each other in striving to enhance the quality
of life for all Mount Holly citizens.  While Planning is at the forefront and the
face of the Department, Zoning, Economic Development, Geographic
Information Systems (GIS) Technology and Code Enforcement play an
important role in everyday job functions.  We strive to offer the best in
customer service to all Mount Holly citizens, property owners and visitors
alike.  We will continue to develop resources and online tools that will
benefit those who are seeking information on a variety of land use issues.
