The “Training Room” is located on the ground floor of the Mount Holly Citizens Center adjacent to the Council Chambers. This room was designed for the use and benefit of City staff, primarily for training purposes. This room has become a popular meeting place for a number of groups and organizations, giving rise to the need to establish user guidelines.
The Mount Holly Police Department is launching a new Community Information Service designed to deliver important and timely information to residents in our area using the latest technology.
This service, created by NIXLE, LLS delivers trustworthy and important neighborhood – level public safety and community event notifications by web, e-mail, and cell phone messaging.
NIXLE is a new community information service provider built exclusively to provide secure and reliable communications. Its authenticated service connects municipal agencies to residents in real time and delivers information to geographically targeted areas. For now, Mount Holly residents will be able to receive police-related information via NIXLE. Channels providing other kinds of information are expected to be introduced in the future.
NIXLE is completely free, simple and trusted.

As Mount Holly residents take to the roads and air in search of cool temps and steep waves, the Mount Holly Police Department would like to offer a few home safety tips for when you are a away. The most important thing you can do around your home is to have a trusted friend be your eyes and ears while you are away. The following tips can also help should things happen while you are out of town.
Home safety while you are traveling is not that hard. Just a few simple tasks can make a big difference. Travel safe!
