Please be advised that The City of Mount Holly Utilities Department experienced a sanitary sewer over spill located which entered into Dutchman’s Creek near Glenn Drive. The spill was caused by a sanitary sewer pipe failure which released 73,200 Gallons of untreated waste water into the creek. If you have any questions please contact Craig Roseberry at 704-913-2336.

City Hall will be closed in observance of the Dr Martin Luther King Jr Holiday
Mondays garbage route will be picked up on Tuesday January 17th 2012.
The street and solid waste department will be closed Monday January 16th 2012.

Water Spill Annual Performance Report
The City of Mount Holly Utility Department will be conducting maintenance on the I-85 (South Tank) Water Tank on February 24 thru 28. The maintenance will consist of a routine cleaning of the interior of the tank. This tank services the Catawba Heights area of Mount Holly and the customers should not have any interruption in water service. Costumers may experience High/Low water pressure, discolored water, and/or air in the lines. All questions are to be directed to the City of Mount Holly at 704- 827-3943 for after hours and emergency call 980-522-0202.
