Information Technology

The primary role of the City of Mount Holly's Information Technology Department is to guide and manage the use of existing and emerging technology throughout the City so as to serve the citizens of Mount Holly in a more efficient and cost effective manner. We do this by partnering with all City Departments to understand their business requirements and then act as technology consultants, project managers, systems implementers, developers, change managers, and technical support to ensure the delivery of technology solutions that provide value through automation.

The scope of technology used by the City's departments ranges from simple handhelds to complex interconnected radio communication systems to sophisticated database driven applications. Information Technology provides support and services for the City in the following areas: Network and Wi-Fi, GIS, Email, Internet, Radio and Telephone Communication, Database and Server Administration, Application Development and Implementation, Web Development, Public Safety Systems, Help Desk, Computer and Device support, IT Security, and more.
