A COVID-19 Message from the City Manager
Dear Mount Holly Citizens,
In case you are not aware, Governor Roy Cooper recently approved a new Executive Order (#141) regarding moving into Phase 2 of the coronavirus crisis (COVID-19).
The primary focus of the new Order is that certain restrictions are now lifted. However, please know that the health and safety of our citizens and the public, in general, are always at the forefront for the City of Mount Holly.
Therefore, it is important to make you aware that although certain restrictions are being lifted, others remain in place. The City is thankful and grateful for the citizens that have complied with the restrictions that have been in place, which played a part in lifting those restrictions.
The Mount Holly Municipal Complex (City Hall) will remain closed, which is a widespread practice of other jurisdictions in Gaston County. Other city facilities will remain closed, all part of reducing the spread of the virus.
Existing processes for paying water bills and conducting other business at the Municipal Complex will continue. You can visit the City's website, www.mtholly.us, for additional information.
City employees continue to work hard and are diligent in providing a high quality of customer service to our citizens. They are to be commended for doing so despite the now very challenging times with COVID-19. Please join me in praying for their safety and overall well being.
