Mount Holly Announces Street Improvements Project Update: South Main Street Paving to Begin Nov. 8

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Mount Holly, NC - The City of Mount Holly is undergoing several street improvements that will continue on into early 2024. The milling and paving of South Main Street is the next project underway. 

Milling and paving are scheduled to begin on Wednesday, November 8. The estimated completion date is Monday, November 13. These improvements to Main Street will begin on the north side of the railroad tracks and will end near Catawba Avenue. During the scope of the project, the road will remain open with a lane closure. 

The City and the Contractor expect this project to move along quickly and smoothly. Please expect minor traffic delays during this time between 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
